AB Economics, Cum Laude, Princeton University Experience Jonathan Guryan is a senior consultant in CRA’s Labor and Employment Practice. Dr. Guryan, an associate professor of economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, is an expert on the economics of labor markets, the application of economics to labor and employment law, labor market discrimination, unions, and human capital. His published research has focused on a variety of topics including labor market discrimination, education and the labor market for teachers, social interactions in the workplace, and occupational licensure. Dr. Guryan is also a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Dr. Guryan was awarded the 2009 John T. Dunlop Outstanding Scholar Award from the Labor and Employment Relations Association. The award is given to one academic economist each year who studies domestic labor markets and who is within 10 years of receiving his Ph.D. The award recognizes Dr. Guryan’s outstanding academic contributions to research concerning labor and employment.
